Bon Voyage

L. is making the last of the veggies into a very carroty orange health drink to strengthen us for the day. He was on campus early this morning to deal with yet more issues concerning study abroad in Gryon for next summer, while I ran around packing vitamins and unplugging things. I think, hope, all details from last summer are finally settled. He is such a trooper for the endless paperwork required by academic life.

Our friend Ana agreed at the last minute to take us to the Nashville airport, thus soothing our moment of panic last night when Amanda called to say her Sam was in the emergency room and she couldn't be with us today. Happily, he is ok now and they are both resting from the ordeal.

If I can figure out how, I will attempt a post here from the iphone later, but any advice would be appreciated. Gloria is not part of the tech revolution - so we 'll be looking for the nearest B & N tomorrow to take advantage of the now free wifi.

Now one last check of the suitcases. Wouldn't want to take anything unnecessary, after all, dragging stuff pointlessly around the world. What about that extra sweater...

  1. A trip wouldn't be a trip without a last minute heart attack. You had yours. Now the fun can begin.

  3. Have an awesome time in Boston. Hopefully it'll be a beautiful autumn season there--and you might not end up regretting that 4th layer when winter comes early and wait, why is there no central heating in New England?
